We all know that location is everything; location is key because it plays such a major role in all aspects of design, inspiration and lifestyle. When I was looking for a location to launch my Mal Sirrah studio, I really wanted to find an area in the City that would encompass all the elements of an ever changing and modern world. Everything from the physical building where we would be housed, to the surrounding neighborhood would ultimately dictate and set the tone of our creative process.
So you’re wondering, exactly where is the Mal Sirrah atelier located??? Perhaps, a loft in SoHo, a studio in the Flat Iron District, or maybe the super trendy Meatpacking District. The answer is actually none of the above... The Mal Sirrah brand is quietly nestled in a historic townhouse located in Harlem, NY.
